The laws of life and the laws of nature, are universal and applicable to all life forms irrespective of faith, clan, caste, creed or color and brand, breed or pedigree. All who are wounded physically bleed some form of blood, internally or externally. When a person is hurt physically or morally it causes pain. Pain has no form or humanly calculable value. Pleasure has no limits and usually has a price. Tomorrow is a perennial misnomer and a paradox because it never arrives. We do not know anything about time beyond ‘now’ as tangible and that ‘present’ is a slippery ground that we walk on, like on a treadmill. Now talk about corporate life, and life in the fast lane and you can see a picture emerging in your mind.
As humans we all go through aches and pains in the heart. What is the cure for the heartaches? Why is there even a need to have a heartache? When we ‘feel’ pain – which part of the body feels it!?
The Basics of Life
To each one of us, we are the center of our own universes. Everything that happens, revolves around our own consciousness. To each of us pain is personal, and empathy is a word first and a feeling next. It is a perceived assumption for many that we came from nowhere and would disappear into nowhere. In theory nothing exists or perhaps some nothingness exists.
(Christians can be excluded from this discussion, because:) For a Christian Soul, Jesus Christ perhaps manufactured only the Christians (or perhaps, the Jews, the Methodists, the Baptists, the Lutheran, or the Assemblies of God’s, the Pentecosts and so on and so forth), only to take them back straight to Heaven. He lived and died and forgave all rubbish that you are gonna do anyway. For the rest of the heathen, please make the best use of life, because, anyway you are going die and forget everything or disappear into nothingness or would be fried in oil or may be baked in a grill for eternity. Who cares about whatever that may happen after we die anyway!
Even the basics, if they sound complicated, you are perhaps at the right place, at the wrong time. Or, if it perhaps seems to make some semblance of sense, please take the pleasure in reading on.
What you Sow, So you Reap
In every forum, and in every interaction, people need and demand respect and they deserve that respect. If we treat one another with respect, we would be treated with respect. If we choose to humiliate people and disrespect them, please be humble enough to accept the same.
Is pain a part of my Karma? It may be or may not be. But, what is controllable is in our hands. We can choose not to hurt others. We can choose to show love and empathy to others.
One act of kindness done, will only come back as an act of kindness, if not now, it eventually will, when it fructifies.
A Broken Heart
How to heal a broken heart? How to kill heart pain? Well there are certainly no easy remedies for the invisible pain that occurs below the ribs. The best remedy for broken hearts to mend – is time. The sands of time are sure to heal and fade away the pains – but the scars will remain. The best way to handle pain, is to ignore the pain. Yes, ignore it to the extent of dissociating the pain – not the person or thing which caused or induced the pain.
The eastern philosophy of the Vedas, teach individuals to live life like that of a lotus flower. The lotus flower, even though it grows in ponds and lakes between muck and mire, is never touched by the water. Not a drop of water sticks to the flower of the leaf! Think about it.
You may also try meditation and meditation music. It helps calm down the mind and erase the pains. The only ingredient required is your willingness to let go of the pain. Best wishes.
